IDENTIFYING VALUE

Exclusion of Emotions

Emotions have a negative influence on the investment process. If you act on the basis of emotions, you lose sight of the value concept.

"The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself."

- Benjamin Graham -

We strive to exclude emotions by strictly applying our systematic investment process, which includes the following two steps:

  • Selection of buy and sell candidates based on a rule-driven discipline (CHICCO)

  • Constructing the portfolio by following a consistently applied, rule-driven systematic procedure

Consistently applying our investment process CHICCO, we strive for positive and repeatable outcomes and we eliminate the influence of emotions.

"The value approach is inherently sound ... devote yourself to that principle. Stick to it, and don't be led astray."

- Benjamin Graham -
